On June 1, 2019, GE completed two key new certification projects for its Grid Solutions business; ISO 9001:2015 International Quality Certification and ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety certification. This milestone reflects the consolidation of the previous set of over 70 individual ISO 9001:2015 certifications and over 50 individual ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001 certifications, which are now combined into two suitably consolidated Global Quality and EHS (environment, health and safety) labels. Both certificates awarded by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) complement all legal elements existing in the GE Grid Solutions business.

This update to the Global Standards ultimately enhances Grid Solutions’ ability to efficiently, reliably and sustainably meet and exceed the needs and expectations of today’s conscious consumers. By continuing to align our processes with the latest global environmental, quality, health and safety requirements for operational, manufacturing and testing processes, we take our customers’ values and expectations into account, embedding them directly in everything we do and how we do it.
